Its the constant SPain/Netherlands will win nonsense that has annoyed me lately, it was as though people were assuming germany werent the cast iron favourites

Spain: shit defence, no strikers, older xavi/iniesta (though clerly still quality)
Netherlands: shit defence, average keeper, selfish and/or out of form midfielders and one striker who doesnt get passed to by the 'star' midfielder and another who gets very angry being second choice behind the best striker in the world
Germany: strongest squad, top quality players, very well organised and drilled and as efficient as usual

simples (on paper) IMO
