meh people are just going to have to disagree on this one, i would have said 250bhp would have made alot of difference, with reference to its competitors peformance.

pretty certian an extra 50bhp could be handled and managed through its fine drivers car chassis that it has?

Will be interesting to top this thread in 3 years time when we have seen more aftermarket tuned versions and quite possibly some faster models.

In its current guise could be a tempting lease package if you want to go the hassle free motoring/warranty route and still have a bit of fun.

Is that a guess or have you seen deals like that?

Problem with leasing is that anything decent as in high performance/sporting is stupid money.

Its great if you want a base model 320d

Can't wait to get a traffic light gp with one of these in a diesel. I'll leave him in a cloud of smoke while he's explaining to his girlfriend how his normal tyres and underpowered engine are good if he's on a B road somewhere, unless he comes across something that handles just as well, like a clio, or something that handles as well + has more power and he'll be holding up, like a megane.

Still taking the piss out of the toyota mate.

Can just imagine a guy trying to explain how he was just beaten by an insignia while he's got a fancy brand new sports car.

No I don't want one. I'd buy a Clio 200 and £7k's worth of condoms.

er, so how much is 'just a bit'

201?
220?
250?
300?

Its a NUMBER!!!!

For example... take an S2000 with whatever they have... 170bhp and race it against a 280 Impreza. Standard for standard..... I know what I'd choose to win a race (thats why you eant power, no?). Mr PubFigue would take whatever has the most power....

The GT86/BRZ may 'only' have 200bhp for now... but I bet you can use 90% of that power 150% more of the time when compared to a theoretical CS 'just enough' power lightweight 400bhp RWD scud missile.

An S2000 has 240Bhp
