Eventful afternoon, decided to start walking to the misses house, got to the bottom of the hill, wasn't too bad so I went back to work, cleaned the snow of the car, put my my snow socks on and made my way over. Still alive so all is good

The beemer coped surprisingly well considering the settled snow on the roads, minus a few hairy moments on humped mini roundabouts. Around 2 inches when I left Leicestershire this afternoon and not much about up in sheffield at the minute.

Just took the bins out, when we go outside the Kitten always sits on the windowsill of the tiny square window near the door watching us leave.

I lobbed a snowball at that window from about 20meters away and pinged it in the dead centre. Cat shit herself

Poo, everywhere.

Me and some of my lovely neighbours have spent most of today shovelling the snow off our road and gritting it from the salt bin round the corner.

We all ache but at least people can drive easily in and out of our road. The entrance to our road has a slight incline and people sometimes get stuck driving up it in the snow or ice.

Hooray for community spirit!

Oh and I drove the V6 earlier, no problems cruising along. Just stuck it in second gear (auto gearbox) on really snowy starts on the roads, everyone else was just wheelspinning and that.

Dunlop SP Sport FastResponse tyres are fucking shite. I turned out of our business park onto a dual carriageway doing about 10 mph and just carried on going forwards instead of left

The Michelin Energys in the Corsa were fantastic.

Punto never worked in the snow as the engine had a tendency to seize so can't comment on that.
