Well most are 20". Pack stuff quite well tbh. Not overloading boxes with too much weight. Easy to stack up. Also using inner tube boxes from my work. It's all tyre industry related.

That looks decent actually. It'll be for the living room. Gonna go real wood for our hall and kitchen/dining area. I'll show her these pics as well to give her an idea on what the carpet will look like. If you can get one with natural light on it would be very helpful. Don't wanna put you out as you'll probably be quite busy just now.

Those rads just lift off the wall so you can paint behind them

House is looking brilliant, great work on the bold colours, I did something very similar with mine and got a lot of funny looks when I told people my plans but once it all came together it looked fantastic.

If you have much more painting to do then practice cutting in on the edges, you will save so much time and money not having to faff with the shitty frog tape

dining area wall may be the only other bit of painting to be done.

I think a house should reflect the personality of the people living there. Shouldn't be afraid to be yourself and have things the you want them

Halifax sent a parcel. Very nice of them. That's who the mortgage is through. I bank with them also, and they had the best rates.

Coffee table and tv stand.

No Ben, not going to bother with any of them. Just need freeview really, a recording box for that. Don't much watch tv, got an android box for films etc and sports so that should do. Looking for a new tv after new year.

Edit, have bt vision now but may not renew. Hoping the box will still work as its one of the old ones........probably won't.

It'll be behind the TV (unless talking about the one near the fire), so you won't see it. Tbh, the VDSL ("fibre") modem/router would be better somewhere a bit more central to the house for WiFi coverage but at least it's out the way and not in the hallway on show like most builds.

Nic - Freeview PVR functions + standalone on-demand services should continue to work on BT Youview boxes without a subscription; you just lose the BT subscription channels and BT on-demand services.
You can always buy BT branded boxes off eBay/Gumtree for little money (the unbranded Humax boxes hold there value unfortunately), you just have to put up with the BT branded GUI/tv guide etc.
