Twitter seems to think Will.I.Am is being brought in to replace Mata who's going to be used as the make weight in a deal for Rooney

Not a ridiculous suggestion. Chelsea know they wont sell Rooney for just cash, but sweeten the deal with a world class midfielder, which they really need and you could be talking.

Still think if United do go for that deal, it leaves them mega light up top, especially if RVP gets injured.

RVP, Welbeck and Hernandez not enough, got to have 4 strikers

City: Dzeko, Aguero, Jovetic, Negredo
Chelsea: Ba, Torres, Lakaku, Schurrle (?)

I just can't see Utd selling to Chelsea and not getting someone else in but that poses the next q, who?

I would be amazed if we sell him to Chelsea, I think that would pretty much guarantee Chelsea the league if we do.

Hernandez is like a forgotten man this summer, he's a brilliant striker and should get more game time IMO.

I think we will have Rooney this season, but we really need a midfielder
