Why you cutting firewall? Engine bay/intake temps to hot??

not monitering intake temps but cant be a bad thing to help the air flow more

i agree but have you not ever thought about monitoring intake temps and you have got EGT iirc....

I use pre and post air temp sensors that way I can see if the cooler is working well...

What about raising the rear of the bonnet?

28 degrees was hottest I've had on inlet temps but that was on the smaller cooler. last time i think 26 was about the average
