Try a mesh one. I have a Craft mesh base layer and its really comfortable.
I have a Gore Windstopper one thats a very tight fit but is also comfy though it did take a few rides to get used to.

Yeah his Bronson. Pretty sure it's had about 3 rides out in the last week.
Nice, is he liking it?
Hopefully mine will be here between mid October and early November.
my pro mate does indeed like the Bronson. Fell off on Sunday landing on his face. Looks a very very nice bike. His previous bike was an orange five.

Out on my MTB in driving wind and rain, wetter than a Otters pocket. I only wore my Gore active shell, needless to say I did not stay dry for long! Oh my edge 800 fired no better either, thats currently funked in the airing cupboard while I am trying to revive it.

No rain. Bit of drizzle towards the end of Monkey.
Trails however. Big puddles. Just need to have confidence there is no hidden holes or boulders and plough through
Hustler was transformed with lighter wheels.

Re. Base layers.
I have a short sleeved technical Helly Hanson and a long sleeved regular Helly Hanson. Both really great imo. Only ever wear them by themselves unless it's that cold then I use my Gore alp x top aswell which has remove able arms if needed. Never over too hot or been freezing cold.

Well I went out for a half arsed attempt at a ride today. I've been out for nearly a month due to illness, but I was itching to try out my new 1x10 set up. I ditched the triple up front and banged a wolftooth NW chainring on and that was it. I haven't got a chain device and I haven't got the recomended clutch rear mech on.
Although I no pro I gave it some abuse including back pedaling etc and I never dropped the chain once! Plus it's so quiet no chain slap that I could hear. Very pleased. I also didn't find myself wanting for gears top or bottom......so far.

Oh my god! Please tell me tv's Richard Bell hasn't damaged his face. Christ, how will he make a living, his face is his work!
I just did blue twice and south once then the new lad who was with us keeled over.... I found it interesting trying to keep upright with no sense of balance...lol etc.

It's difficult tbh I'm on pills to curb the dizzyness but it makes you feel weird. The best way to describe it is it's like playing a realistic video game. Sort of feel disconnected from it. Strange..

Like the look of that Nic, iirc you have a trek 1.2 as well?
Sounds like a decent frame Cole. I've only recently got back into biking (was crazy over it as a kid) and have already built a few top spec (mainly xtr and carbon) bikes up and bought and sold a few other bikes and bits. It's much more fun than messing with cars IMO. At the moment I'm building an old skool carbon bike with sid race forks and spinergys, trying to get it down to 17-18lbs.
