thats something i will just have to come to terms with. although i did remove the charcoal cannister to help combat the extra weight of the cage. so might be 34.9kg's heavier than it was instead of 35.

nic those footwell plates are horrible, best thing ive seen used is a big sheet of the skateboard tape cut nicely and stuck, think one of the 106 lot used some on here

ah well. will see how i get on with them. if its anything like the chequer plate floor mat things i used to have, will get sacked off and end their life in the garage on a shelf.

yeah its grand is the cage. Well happy with how its progressed. I wont lie. When it arrived i really wished i had bought a bolt in job. Looked extremely complicated. Makes sense once you start it. Thanks to people that look at and reply to this thread. Its good to see people are still interested in stuff like this and not just scene cars.

Always enjoy reading through the updates and i'm a 'scene' person - but not much these days. I like your work ethic on the car and it inspires.

Without re-reading 119 pages, whats the reasoning behind the cage (other than 500+ bhp)? Are you going to be doing more track driving than blasting up the strip?
