Why 440cc? dident Issacahunt run yellows without having them on MAX duty?
Well, from what i've been told and read... The standard yellows start requiring higher fuel pressure as you get towards 300bhp. Although it is ok to do this, it does contribute to reliability risk. The higher the fuel pressure the lower the reliability of your fuel system will be. The 440cc's will mean I can run relatively low fuel pressure, and at "only" 440 there not too big to cause problems at low rpm.
I've heard a few horror stories of high fuel pressure causing issue's, even when the injectors are nowhere near their Max Duty Cycle.
So basically I just want to try and make the engine as reliable as possible.

Yes mate it used to run an F28... and I believe it was crossing the line top end of 4th gear at 128mph

UPDATE:
6th March
This is what this hobby is all about, some fun cars to work on, great mates and lots of larking about.
Tonight we did the following:
Ben fitted his Clutch
Got the F28 gearbox attached
Would you trust these people to work on your car
Dan thinks his Fan is a steering wheel
So we point him in the right direction
Don't you just love Carbon fibre in light
Smokey jumped onto my back
Ben has a word
Then Smokey attacks Dan pulling down his trousers
Dan trys to fit his new bumper
And decides to use Smokey as a stool
This is Dan's new Nitrous controller for the Civic
My beast
Side exit (Drag strip only) exhaust fitted
Not on hangers yet so a bit low
SARD fuel pressure reg fitted at the end of fuel rail
This is roughly where the EPAS pump will sit (where battery used to be)
And finally a piece of hose and some reducers were fitted for the heater matrix hoses, and I brought a Coil Park

Looks like your all having a great laugh and making good progress mate, wish I lived closer.
How you going to change the exhaust over for the drag strip, assuming you won't be drivin there with that exhaust fitted

The Postman just dropped me off a little parcel from South Africa They said delivery would be 6-7 weeks but they came in less than 2.
Hopefully they should look a little classier than the Smoked Lexus ones that are on the car at present.

Thanks mate
It wasn't always like this though. I started off at 17 with a sh*tty 1.2 Nova and worked outside with cheap Argos Tools and a Haynes manual not having much clue about what I was doing (My mates will say I still haven't lol)
Its taken me 8 long years to finally get my old man to allow us a space in one of his barns I am very lucky though living on a farm.
Thanks for the comments guys. Glad your enjoying it.

as i've said already mate the thread is amazing big time, im loving the attention to detail on the like of oil cap's etc.
i also like the way you stripped it right down to painted etc to give it that new look so many desire,
i would have dont it to mine but i wasn't sure on it taking away a factory look if you get me?.
anyway - by far one of the top 5 cars on the site mate.
Tom.

Heres the RX with my Calibra just after we cleaned them... Unfortunetely the sun was going down so you can't see the Pearl on the cars (mines Gold, Dan's RX has a Green pearl)
Dan works for Roll-Royce Aerospace and lives at home... as do I But he's on more money than me as he's a fitter and im a Cadds Monkey
