How have i only just found this thread?!?!?! Looks a great height on the new coilovers!! When they were on mine I just turned the rear shocks down for road driving then on the track (or when blasting round back roads.....................) turned up the rears. Just the rear damping changes the way the car handles so much. Enjoy playing with it!!

Well im not a happy bunny this morning
Bought some new VXR brakes off Warren and was planning on taking the Corsa into work like when i fitted my coilers and use their post ramps and whack em' on, jobs a good'un
but........
Went to mum and dads last night corsa all ready for the morning, got up early to make sure i got to work on time, started the car as usual got a minute down the road and it cut out bollocks not what i need, turned over but engine light just flickers and its having none of it
So pissed after 15mins fuciing about i had to leave it and take my company car to work instead and was nearly late for my half day this morning
Now before PVS it did the symptoms its done this morning once and i thought it sorted it being a loose ECU. Secured it just before PVS, did my runs, drove to and from the show fine and thought id solved it, but this morning it proper spat its dummy out and was having none of it
Dads called and tried starting it while im at work with no joy
got a feeling i might have to cart it down to Warren G a few months early, thats if he'll take it this week ?? And get my loom sorted out
anyone know what time hes usually up on a saturday? trying to arrange borrowing works truck to get down to kent this afternoon, would do it tomorrow but taking dad to brands hatch for the day
just what i need before billing..............bugger

yeh not turned out to be a bad little car afterall, and is still on a budget (still has the same tyres on when i finished the build a couple of years ago) those continentals have suffered plenty of abuse but still have a few mil left on em, then i think its time for some 888's maybe after they have given up
but deffo dont have the money big ron has obviously

Right well couldnt sort the wiring problem before billing (which turned out to be a blessing anyway considering billing was a washout)
Cars now booked to be left in the hands of trusty WG motorworks at the end of the month, so good old Warren will sort the electrical problem with the wiring and get it all tidy as its a mess but getting a few other bits done while its there;
Oil temp and Oil pressure gauges wired up
Oil cooler fitted and plumbed in
Possible clutch/geabox change
New Corsa VXR discs and calipers being fitted
so looking forward to getting it back and cleared it with my boss to let me borrow our recovery truck to get it down there
and IF i have enough dough maybe a new whiteline rear ARB (but will have to see how money goes)
should be back in plenty of time for the CS RWYB in august
And also a new problem has arisen from being newly lowered at the rear, seem to keep catching the centre section on speed bumps lately, so in talks with longlife and powerflow exhausts to see what they can do in building a new exhaust system from manifold back that sits as close to the body as it can go and get a nice single outward rolled tip backbox
....this will have to wait for the moment as i will have to save like buggery to pay for it, but still nice plans ahead
then after all that, desperately need to get a roll cage as there will be little else needed after all the above is done
