Wahoo well done dan
Will bring stand tommorow
Got my saxo back today so that will be for-sale very soon. Some funds from that will buy some stuff for the engine. Probably TB's to get them out of the way !
So if anyone wants a gorgeous saxo, VTS conversion (1.6 16v) 1.4 8v on log book still though. Highly modified but standard bodykit. Let me know

UPDATE:
Pistons are fitted.
Block is painted silver
I now need new oil pump bolts, then i can fit the oil pump and sump.
The head can go back on now as well, then its just a case of putting all the bits back on.
Pics later

ADD:
Rocker-Cover, Belt-Cover and Spark-Plug-Cover have had the nitro-morse treatement and are going for powder-coating tommorow. All chrome (well as chrome as powderocating goes) apart from plug cover with which i want black with chrome lettering.
Big thanks to Dan for his work today

Right, Ill do one big update with pics and delete them other posts....
Went and picked the block up from the rebore.
Washed it out again to double check no swarf left from the rebore
Fitted the new main bearings, fitted the crank and main caps (torqued up)
Fitted the pistons to the rods, gudgeon pins and circlips all in and double checked to be fitted correct.
Piston rings fitted to all pistons.
Head face and sump faces all cleaned up.
I then fitted the pistons..
Up skirt pic..
Protrusion to make up compression from valve cut outs....
Then finally i cleaned up the block and painted it silver.
Now awaiting an arp head kit, and some new oil pump bolts, then i can get the oil pump and sump on, along with the head etc...
HOPE YOUR FUCKING HAPPY NOW DAN!!

UPDATE:
Got dan to run me over the box of bits he had from the engine when i stripped it..
Before i started it, i gave a quick course on health and safety at work, regarding heights and changing bulbs. i decided this was the safest way to go about it....
I then fitted the oil pump, gasket and crank spacer ring, along with new front crank seal.
Then i cleaned up the sump and pick up pipe, and fitted those with new stainless bolts along with the new gasket. While i was there i also cut of the level sensor wiring.
Then i spun it the right way up, for one last photo...
I belive dan has just ordered a set of undercut arp head studs and a set of arp flywheel bolts. Those should be here weds morning, and i can get the head fitted.
