3 whole inches from the downpipe back.
The downpipe is an enlarged Milltek item and is smaller than the new exhaust.

No. I've ordered a box today which will be going in tomorrow.
If that doesn't work, we're going to go for a rear exit system with a big backbox.
The only reason we did the side exit was because of the lack of pipe and bends we had at 1am.....
It does sound awesome though, even if it's FAR too loud

I've got 2 3" boxes to go in the exhaust now, one 16" long and one 12" long. Should get the noise down somewhat.
If not, we'll rethink and poke it out the back with a huge box under the boot floor.
On another note, I've broken the Chavalier of love, which is useful.

This WILL be finished and at Santa Pod for the RWYB on October the 12th beating my brother in law's Astra VXR.
After that it will be up for sale as I have an addiction to roundabouts.

You can have a go before it goes. It'll probably take months to sell anyway as it's not exactly a massive market I've got for it
Come to Santa pod and watch me and hopefully some of the rest of the Jamsport cars destroy some VXRs

Me too.
The only problem is, it's a Ford, with an RST gearbox, so it'll do 14s with 300bhp, but go on to about 170mph

It's geared to 167mph at 7200rpm.
I'm not even going to attempt it.
If someone else fancies it, I'll see what Nick says

work. exhaust is now quiet and the steering wheel is on, it's also had a bit of mapping, that's 2.5 of the 5 things (I thought it was 7, it was actually 5)
Just need to fit some switches and do a little bit more mapping now.

driving it with a side exit exhaust with no silencers is actually very amusing, and quiet annoying at the same time.....
