well had a mad day today.

i moved into my new garage the other day but had just thrown everything in and was a fucking mess so had to sort that out today and organise things so i know where everything is.

picked up an engine crane tonight from a mate aswell, so engine will be out tomorow night and onto the engine stand.

sold my ronal turbo's aswell as i feel that 300bhp and strectched tyres wont work

got a bit done to the cally aswell:

removed tophat, throttle body and loom with fuel rail.

also the airbox and afm.



i then got a phone call from the bodyshop and he asked me to come and collect some panels he has already done

very happy with the result.
the other bits are getting done as we speak and will be ready shortly.

its running eds phase 3.5 and few other little bits mate.

so yeah should be fine

phase 3.5 iirc is 318bhp. but not sure how much boost that is.

will be doing few bits to it like the xe inlet, enlarged tb and tophat, larger boost pipes, large fmic, vxr injectors with adjustable fpr

Not being a dick but you wont hit 300bhp with them mods, this spec is huge & it hasnt hit the 300 bhp mark:

i will look into mine this weekend and get back to you on it.

did think was bit easy but whats difference between evo chips and eds?

say whats difference between phase 3.5 and evo 5 for example??

fair enough..they do look nice but think it would be better off being gsi bumpers

you should be able to get over 300 with that spec, (depending on spec of turbo)although powder coating doesnt add power,

you can achieve 300 bhp on a good standard turbo with 4 bar reg slightly bigger injectors and a fmic and xe inlet cam!

all be it uprated internals are needed in the long run!

the rear is gsi mate along with the skirts, just waiting on a decent front

eds give all power at once and evo 5 are alot smoother, i run evo 5s on mine at 330 bhp proven and i like them!

Neah thats not my spec, was just giving you an example dude. I'm not going for huge power, just abit more than standard will do me.

What Engine spec are you looking at?
Just because 3.5 is 318bhp dosent mean you have that power?
I have Phs4 ECU here if i plug that into a standard LET that mean its got 350bhp+
Also EVO5 is rated for 308bhp but not many people see over 300.

Can you post you spec of engine so we can see how your making 318bhp.....

didnt mean mine was beardy. tbh im not sure what it is ive just been told thats what phase 3.5 is rated at. and would like to run safely at that sort of power.

has the cally you bought got the 3.5 software on? Or are you buying it?

If engine has a few miles on it (which alot have) then you need a good engine build to see than type of levels and had a engine which can take the type of boost levels needed (on standard or hybrid)to make that power.

So your making the engine ready for 3.5?
