had to remove the full plastic item and replace with a rubber harden wall vaccum pipe.
maybe worth looking at mate.
I could be wrong !! but would the original pipe that you removed not have a one way valve in it... As this would explain the hard pedel..

Hi tech motorsport in Cradley mate. Give them a quick call. I had a few problems when I fitted my 2l brakes and they sorted it. Real good lads too which is nice as I'm sure you're not too keen on taking it to garages. I know I'm not!

Get them chucked in and get your uprated ones sold!

i would rather have standard shafts over aftermarket uprated ones any way.

Just so people know I haven't got this car anymore.

I really cba with people saying blhblh why did you give up etc so if you think that just don't post, this car actually caused me loads of stress and I had 0 enjoyment out of it what so ever!

Basically from the start it hasn't felt quite right and in my mind I made the wrong decision initially getting the conversion done and i regret it 100%.

It would have been different if everything was running mint and I actually got to USE the car but no..and yes with time and money I could have properly got it running ok but I just didn't want to throw more money at it and then risk it breaking 1 week later.

On Sunday I managed to loose all the gears! There was something wrong with the linkage and basically it broke, and that's from about 8 miles of careful driving

Also found some kind of air leak which was causing the car to rev up and down by itself.

So I was made an offer on the car and I decided to cut my losses and sell, I am aware I have lost a bit of money on the car which I will not go into but in my mind I am far happier now saving for a new car than having that thing stuck on my drive.

The person who has got it now knows a lot more than me anyway so its in much better hands.

That is all

I no

But I really didnt enjoy it one bit.

Im hoping for a newer car next that is fairly quick but reliable at the same time, so something like ctr or leon cupra or even a bmw if I can afford one.

Just make sure you replace as many parts as you can on yours to ensure it runs spot on

Shame, was a lovely car but as said, no point it being stuck on the drive. Has the new owner got an account on here?
