oh right, they are that unreliable they have been the biggest selling corporate device for years, and on a consumer level outsold the iphone.

touch hd is out now-guised as a pro and diamond.
i had 3 devices with me, htc touch pro, blackberry 8310 and blackberry bold.
all of them work the same apart from htc, email isnt as good as BB, and blackberry still do same as htc.
what things has the HD got that blackberry hasnt?

It's got the big screen the same as the blackberry and the iphone.
Because it's windows mobile there are millions of programs for it.
You get blackberry email for the winmo devices.

the touch HD, has a "normal" touch screen....the blackberry doesnt have a normal screen, and actually is High Definition...........
who is to say new blackberrys arent going to have a better OS than 6.1? has anybody used it yet? no......
winmo is slow and glitchy.
i think u need to get and have a play with the new phone see what you think then

Yeah cos every company I know have about 1.5 x what they actually need due to them always going wrong! As I said they are mega unreliable
Stop comparing it to something else, admit that they go wrong a lot

It's nothing to do with whether the OS is better or not it's the fact that winmo is out there and has a massive developer community.

u must know a lot of companys then!!
return rate on RIM products, even against sales percentage is relatively low. return rate on O2 branded RIM devices is high, due to O2 bastardising firmware.
RIM devices generally are very reliable.
my curve is 9 months old, been fine, bold is 3 weeks old, fine, my previous TyTn2 touchscreen died in 2 months.
luck of the draw eh?

as do RIM.
the worlds biggest social networking companys developed programs for RIM first, where are the winmo apps? facebbok, flickr, myspace, ebay etc?
they arent built in apps on my HTC-nor can i find decent apps supporting them

I'm not talking about the ones that come on it, i'm also not talking about anything like facebook etc.
There are programs for winmo just like there are for your windows laptop, there is nothing like that for RIM.

we shall soon see that money gets exchanged between various companys and developrs and they will all share what they make.
and it will be more readily known to consumers.
like the Sony Ericsson (HTC) X1-made using 4 major companys.
