Bought a few bits bit by bit from 29/05/2011 to now...

Distributer blanking plate and 8mm ball bearing to blank exhaust camshaft...
Omex C20LET Race Spec Loom...
And the big one..
Omex 600 Stand Alone Management...
Pic of everything ive got so far...
Still need to get myself MARELLI 3 bar map sensor and Air temp sensor, then booked in to get fitted and set up, my next goal is 333bhp, might sound a daft goal but i thought why not, everyones got to aim for something...
Silvergsi - Only paint its had has been bonnet and front bumper in 18 years, few blemishes etc.. but i try and keep it as good as i can and its always garaged,
Comments always welcome good or bad,
Thanks for looking!

Personally I wouldn't run standard rods on anything over 300bhp, not worth risking imo.

Ive heard bottom ends on these are good for 400bhp? Especially if its mapped properly etc... Maybe il upgrade to ARP Bolts but see how i get on, I can always rebuild etc... if/when that happens

Pistons are good for 400bhp+ but rods snap/bend anything over 350 but few people had failures at around 300 too.
I've done a lot of reading on MIG and most people agree that you need steel rods after PH2.
If I was you I would get omex fitted and mapped for around the 300 bhp then take engine out at later stage and put steel rods in with bigger turbo and aim for 400 plus

Meiran - I would like to think the people that have bent/snapped rods havnt had it set up properly but have wound up th boost and guessed at the fuelling. I agree with you tho mate, get Omex to map it perfect as it is then at a later date Garrett, rebuild engine, on the other hand I think do that when I need to and see how I get on, engine is really well maintained as it is so I might just get th arp bolts for th time being and see if I can get to 333bhp
Greg - that's probly What i'l do
