its on the road

although its been on the road two days,and ive decided im lifting the front as its too low (ive just popped a driveshaft the badger i did dog it on full lock though my own fault)
updates and some better pics after i go get shit up and fix it!

after doing this to it

i got her put back together,ive got an oil change to do and ive yet to lift the front up an inch - its just too low to be practical and dont wanna knacker anything up,its booked in to have the camber and tracking setup by laser on tuesday...ive a few little bits i wanna tend too, but ive now got her aesthetically finished how i want her to look,so took these pics tonight after work - oh and obviously its now on the road (when the suns out )

i have mate..thatll be going in over winter if nobody buys it (i want a 6 - point lol) along with rear discs and a respray down both sides


caps dont fit because of hubs but ill get sumat made with the laithe at work

haha my mate had that prob with his STVIs!
ended up cracking and kerbed so he got some cesaros...never saw the caps fitted

you cant have it!!

no im running proper courtney conversion shafts and chris astley hubs with the mounts i got off you,it was the end of the inner c.v i ripped off (where the circlip goes) i must of popped out and just twisted it off,its in bits above as i replaced the c.v with a new 'un

yeah me too, been busy at it today,
removed sump of gearbox to check and recover end of spunked shaft (it had sheared off flush with the circlip groove the fecker), re - fit with new gasket and new oil after a good clean!

then i decided i was having some of this H.I.D malarky!! so bought a kit and used this....




no i robbed this off bethoml's car when it went to the scrappy,its the fuse holder from the top left of the bulkhead in a corsa sport - also a great place to house various connectors and ballasts etc for the h.i.d kit, as i like to try keep an element of O.E if possible.
now i wont be all ghey and put pics of it up in the dark but i got the 4300k ones and theyre great -a nice white light,just got to fill box with oil in morning and its booked in monday night for camber/tracking as today i also fitted the eibach camber bolts and lifted her up a bit on the coilovers...good times

hopefully not when i ran outta juice on the junction for the petrol station??!!! tow bar latched straight on to mine and one of my mates cars and we hauled ass down the slip road, over the bridge and into the forecourt - funny but a bit naughty tbh
