tidied up the loom, got rid of the main blue one, took the inlet off and tucked the loom down behind it and secured it
not a massive difference but...

added my little pac man aswel

it moved down there ok sean, just make sure its out of the way of the inlet so the inlet doesnt bang against it, damaging it, make sure you secure it.

my wipers have gone funny the ones that come on one wipe every so often has stopped working, and the very fast wipe has stopped, im only left with slow constant wipe, anyone know what causes this?

Either check the fuses or check how tight the wiper arms are on. Sometimes they can become loose etc so check them. Think it's a 13mm nut.

Do you prefer driving your car with that inlet on, as opposed to the standard inlet?

I had a drive in my mates GSI the other day, and I miss the midrange pull so much lol!

heard you say this a few times now

does your mate have any other modifications or just the inlet?

mine pulls no less in the mid range just much harder 3500rpm+

im the same as sean, at first when i first got the inlet on everything was all on top and im talking about 6k+ but sorted a coupl eof things out and 3500rpm upwards it pulls strong, so i do prefer driving with the inlet on

i think the 4-2-1s make a big difference aswell

also the crap cone i had on hampered it alot

It was completely standard, bar a cone filter.

just a couple of things left to do now

have bonnet painted ( stone chips)
have boot painted ( little rust bubble)

think thats it then outside anyway

new suspension is added on the list, spax are doing my head in now, the rebound takes the piss, no matter how much you adjust the stiffness/softness the rebound is too hard for road use. going to look into some nice suspension
any one else feel the same about spax?
