Talking to some Chelsea fans on't tube in London at the weekend they had a leaflet from the club with prices so I had a look at it.

Prices for tickets & flights were about £300, which I didn't think was too bad. If you stayed over it was something like £450.

It also said they will only get 20,000 tickets if they get there. Would imagine UTD get the same, so that means there will be just as many non-fans there, as fans. Disgraceful

There is no way the tickets and flights will be that cheap. No way.

Also the ticket allocation is a farce and has been like that for years.

Tickets are £183, £128, and £83 on there own. So I can see the packages being about what Danny said tbh. It'll always be cheaper going through Official channels too.

I'm guessing the £300 deal will be coupled with a cheap ticket btw.

I was with the United 'Commercial Partners' last night and it got a bit fruity in the stands.

Is that the section right in the middle of the Arsenal fans!

Yes.

Yes.

One of my mates is a season ticket holder and is sat near that section. He said it was bound to kick off sooner or later during a high intensity game!!

It was the same at Highbury oo.

Looking like a squad needs chaping around Arshavin. Fabregas is good but he has no real support.

Wonder what the result would have been last night had Arshavin been eligible.
Very fair and generally accurate comment, disagree somehwat about Fabregas and in fairness he is still gettign back to his best after his injury but had a lot of asissts since returning

As for last night, agreed but also we were lookign good and the atmosphere was tasty until the first goal

Good atmosphere for 7 mins

I like Arsenal and the way Wenger works, but agree that if there's money it should be used to buy the right player(s). The core of the squad is really good, but another few top players like Arshavin and Fabregas would help bring back previous heights imo.

Not in my experience, Im certain cheapest package with Thomas Cook (who do ours and I think both Uniteds and Chavskis official away trips) were over £400, and that was flying in and out the same day and not staying anywhere.

Yeah your right, I never saw the leaflet with all the prices up. I made it up for the shits and giggles

The £300 was the day package. Fly out morning, game, fly home and was coupled with the cheapest ticket.

Agreed. Papers this morning were all saying look for a solid WC CB and CM and I agree. Adebayor... still not sold on, shoudl ahve cashed in in hindsight! I heard today that Wenger sees Nasri moving into the Song role which could eb ideal but he is still only 21!

You need two centre backs IMO, a central midfielder and someone to replace Adebayor.

If you are going to get already top players for each of thise you're going to have to spend £100m+ this summer!!

At least he saw the end of the match which is more than 90% of The Emirates managed.

My neighbours daughter is a United season ticket holder and the Moscow package was cheaper through United. Guess it depends where the Final is.

Maybe, as I guess the likes of Thomas Cook are just as dependant on prices hotels offer to them as we are going direct to hotels/flights.

Im my experience of going to two finals in two totally different cities though the packages from the club (which as I said are done by the same as who will be doing these) have always been more expensive than £300 being mentioned.

Cheapest direct flights to Athens I could get were something like £700, and that was going a few days before and a few after. An getting a hotel was mental. We ended up getting a hotel 'final' package in some uber 5* where AC stayed as was all we could find, then spending a few days before in Cyprus and a week after there.

Same as yesterday really now, early goal has killed off the game a bit, hopefully Barca will get one back and start the game off again
