Just played it for the first time (apart from demo)
Its good I quite like it, not as much as Forza 2 but im sure that will change.
Question -
Whats happend to the penalties? (I.E On forza 2 if you go on the grass you would get a slower lap time) Not on this one though it seems?

I thought that as well, when you do hit a kerb you seem to get that exclamation mark next to your lap time.
Bit weird.

if you cut the track, hit other cars etc youll get an exclamation next to your time, this means that its an invalid lap for scoreboard times, so if you run a 1.13.52 with an invalid lap and your mate runs a 1.15.45 without getting an exclamation mark he will be higher up the leaderboards than you,
its mostly for hotlapping, as iv figured out you get one for slipstreaming aswell as the others listed above

Ive got the limited edition one and ive installed disc 2 and done all the codes. I downloaded something called legends pack i think, probably in there.
the 6 lane drag racing is cool

Noraml one i think? Mine came with 3 codes for different things i think. and a USB stick. and a Keyring And ive got a crown next to my name  god i love a limited edition
