tbh though, if Villa think Milner is worth £30m then Fabregas is worth £60m.
Means Torres is worth about £200m too
If you take those figures and divide them by the number of games they would play in a season then Milner and Fabregas would be bargains whilst brittle-bones Torres would be an even worse signing than when Leeds signed Tomas Brolin.

I was meaning how injury prone he is.
No point in having a quality striker who is always fucked if you have some shitehawk like Ngog sat on the bench waiting his turn! Strength in depth and all that...

I wouldn't be surprised if Joe Cole ends up with us. And I'd be pleased if he did.
There's only us for him to go to that consistently wins trophies which is surely what he will want after being at Chelsea. Arsenal would be a bit of a come down for him.

If he still scores 20+ goals a season then I'll take it.
In fact Id happily have 3 of those forwards in the team.

Only worrying thing is what sort of wage he would demand
But he would surely be a 1st choice for us rather than an occasional player that he has become at Chelsea.
Who ever gets him is getting a good deal.

I'd more than happily have him at St James Park but that's never going to happen

I actually think United have lost that strength. When Rooney was injured they didn't really have a lot going on up front.

Plus struggled in defence when Rio/Vidic were out.

It wasn't Rio & Vidic being out that did us. It was the back up defence then getting injured too which meant playing Carrick etc. in defence. No team could cope with that!
But we still managed to have the best defensive record in the league

You're forgotting that right back they had. What was his name?
That's it - Darren Fletcher.
Strength in depth!

Well surely if you still had the best defensive record....Then it wasn't the defence that did you?
