TBH I think they are a great all rounder and with the right color/wheels still a reasonably good looker.

Tbh if I had £7.5k to spend on a car it deffo wouldn't be an Audi TT or an LCR.

I've always liked the mk1 focus RS and they're a pretty rare site on the roads. They hold there value pretty well too.

I love it when someone shows their arse early then spends the rest of the thread desperately sticking to their point of view despite piles of evidence otherwise.

A 4wd TT will be far far better than a Puma in the snow if they are both on summer tyres. I live on a fairly steep side street and the only cars that can get up it in the snow (out of the people who live on it) are my S3 and a Hilux belonging to a lad that lives across. My Connect couldn't even get off the side of the road, I had to reverse it down to the bottom, likewise with my girlfriends sister's Corsa D. She got part way up and parked then couldn't get it out or reverse out so I pulled it out with the S3.

Back on-topic however I'd say best bet if you can is to test drive a few and have a read up on the specific forums, you'll get much more insight into potential problems and strengths/weaknesses of each model than you will listening to morons on here with an axe to grind. Top and bottom of it is though if you get a TT you'll have a well built, reliable good looking car with adequate performance that will still get you around if we have snow again this winter. In my opinion.

i will, but i've never test driven a car i've bought before

corsa - passenger drive (owner drove it)
fiesta - just bought it new without a test drive
focus - same as fiesta
puma - my dad test drove it with me as passenger
current fiesta - bought as new without a test drive

guess i'm just lucky.
