Whats the score with the circuitry (sp)? Home made? Bought in? Standard part?

Ooooo burn! Home made then!
Its all a learning curve though but if you market this stuff to folk like Davey and he posts something like that on a RC forum it would ruin your business

Do what? There's nothing wrong with it, works fine
The ubec is off the shelf, rest is homemade. It's very efficient and lightweight

Did you add the cap?
Defo worth adding a ferrite and cap to the output, can help clear up any noise you might have on video footage

I just realised how small that UBEC is , also I can see tha cap is under the heat-shrink so obviously there to prevent spikes
Tell you what though, your wiring is a fuck sight tidier than mine!

I hate the wiring on rc stuff. I usually end up shoving all the wires and bits in the case and jamming it closed poking wires in as you go like the old over packing a suitcase routine.

Just got the first proper day to fly mine outside and even though it was windy it wasn't too bad tbh, going to start adding stuff to mine now, just bear in mind this was my first ever flight outdoors

I took the piss abit yesterday and did a new personal best
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivPozJ_9u1o
The RTH autopilot got a bit confused at one point (I need to tweak a couple of settings) but I just pointed east and headed back manually.
I need to start flying north now as there are less poplated areas and I was shocked to see a passenger jet above me, its not a normal flight path through the area as there are a lot of light aircraft around.
