It's on wikipedia, must be true
On 8 May 2013, following the decision by Sir Alex Ferguson to retire as manager of Manchester United, David Moyes was confirmed as his successor. He will begin his work at Old Trafford in the season commencing 2013/14.

If Moyes is confirmed, will he bring anyone? Fellaini, Baines and Heitinga are three great players.

In that respect it would be pretty decent to have Baines and Fellaini

Wonder how Moyes will cope with handling big names, Fergie was an expert at that, never let a player become bigger than the club, can Moyes replicate that? Doubt it

What a shame
Hope it is Moyes, and would expect it to be as I reckon fergie will retain a substantial level of influence now/going forwards and would no doubt rather shape someone like that than get pissed off with Mourinho every time he opened his mouth. I also wouldn't be that suprised in that sense if it were an ex player too. I would imagine that whoever it is would have been approached a good while ago if they're being announced by the weekend!
Whatever happens, this is a blow to United. Fergie's influence throughout the game is something United have benefitted from for a long time, hopefully this will be the start of the playing field being levelled a little.
