Wtf! As if they've sent Jimmy in to protect Broad!
Tame end to the day from England, should've really been pushing their advantage home, instead they've handed it straight back to Australia.

I don't think it's a disaster, should get well into the 300s,better than the 218 on the first day at trent bridge

Yeah, another cracking day of cricket. And great start to the second test.
Am I weird in preferring to see us bowling rather than batting?

This is a very different pitch to Trent Bridge though, England are going to have to bat well to get 350 which is barely par IMO. That's the problem when the top order fail though, 280-4 is much better when the top order have scored them, then hopefully the middle order score their runs and before you know it you are 400+.

This pitch is made for batting though. We should have been comfortably getting 350 on it, probably 400. Luckily i dont think they are up to much cop batting wise either. Its going to be close.

I thought we agreed don't reply to Steve and he'll go away?
Luckily as Jonny implied before, our attack is rather good, their batting isn't, so the bowlers will have to dig us out again.
Probably why I prefer us bowling tbh, its our strong point currently.

Anyone watching the highlights on Sky now? After each clip the audio goes weird, sounds like they've used the crowd effects from Sensible Soccer.

Very good last wicket, nearly 50 put on.
Bresnan better do some good work with the ball, as he failed with the bat again. And that's the reason he was in.
Good thing about having Anderson in earlier, he's had a bit more rest than usual between innings.

Well done Steve....
Decent finish but it's still below par for me, haven't taken enough time out of the game either. Still we can have a good blast with the new ball here, then a rest and come out again. Clark and Watson are key, they could really punish us on a flat track like this.
