My mate had an ex SSE one last year, did loads to it too. It was actually really quick after the mods and the noise was amazing. Can't find the for sale advert though with the full spec. It was fucking huge with the lift kit fitted.

My brother has (maybe had, haven't seen it in a while) a nice metallic grey TD5. Ended up being reasonably quick, had it remapped, new intercooler and some other engine bits. Also fitted xenons, heated seats, swapped the centre seat for a storage box, sound deadened a lot of it etc. I'll have to see if he has some pics.

cool

bit of a last minute buy on ebay last night to solve my rotten rear door conundrum, I was going to repair it by welding a new frame section in, but popped up on ebay and was only a few miles from me so i took the plunge. Got tinted rear window too so bit of a bonus

And the reason I wanted this, a rot free door frame!

There was however some oxidisation bubbles appearing on the outer skin, so i thought id crack on and rectify them

Started sanding down

Bit more sanding

put a wee bit of filler in some spots

cleaned up, then etch primer

Its not flawless, but should be perfect for a wrap, although iv ordered the wrap to do the whole car i wont be doing it just yet, but i will wrap this door when it arrives to see how i get on with it

They don't have rivets like the modular either and that's what's starts to rust first

Steve is some bloke near me with a garden full of old landys and he advertises as having everything from rolling chassis to complete vehicles for sale.

This is making me think a land rover would be a better choice for me instead of a JEEP
