Seen a few folk about with dogs and I'd love to take my German Shepard pup out. She's coming up a year old and it looks great exercise for the dog and it would be nice company. Anyone do it or tried it?

I took my niece cycling a few weeks ago, same sort of thing right?

I ride with a guy who regularly brings his staff and oh my that dog can run it knows all the local trails all the short cuts even pre jumps the drop offs and bomb craters we have even thought about strapping a garmin to him and creating his own strava account

http://vimeo.com/20200292

this is a video of him out on our monthly club ride with the dog in tow

That looks funny as.

Think I'll take her down to the local airfield and get her used to being about a bike. Then a few fireroads, and move it on bit by bit..

:edit: this way in the future I can set the dogs on Barnes when he gets too far ahead, or just for fun.

Another up hill KoM on the single speed this morning.

15mph head wind made cycling along the prom hard work though.

Had a pleasant day ridng round ae forest near Dumfries again almost went down the downhill course but decided against it and did a section called the shredder which was interesting. It has a road gap which I avoided skillfully.

Looking forward to Mondays trip up to glentress and maybe get out again tomorrow on the bike if the weather is ok. I've climbed 72,000ft since the end of July when I got strava.

It's pretty decent really can bypass the road gap. Worth a trip down anyway but takes a while to ride up to the top of it.

Only KOM's that are worth it are the downhill ones. Riding up hill blows goats.

less to get clogged up in shite means less to clean less parts get worn down which means much cheaper especially as it only cost me £8.75 to build it as I had all the parts off old bike

I suppose, it took me a whole 10 mins to clean. Mine cost nothing to build as it was parts that were already on the bike. It's a mutil speed.
