Update 28.03.2012

I was off again today so cracked on fitted some of the bits i received yesterday. But i were expecting more things today. Header tank, loom tape, hoses and some new headlight lower clips but they didn't come. I'm at work all day tomoz and 100% when i get home i'll be greeted by 4 red Royal Mail letters telling me i wasn't in. Ah well.

Here's some piccys ho i got on today in the lovely weather again.

Started off by fitting my fan onto the radiator

And how the car started off

But then realised it wouldn't fit like that so had to take it back apart

Fitted radiator

And then cut down my piping for the brake servo

Started taking bits off so i could get to servo pipe better

Started doing abit of screwing

And done

And then fitted my ecotec adapter plate, firstly took my ecotec pipe off

And then fitted

Then wrapped the start and charge loom to battery, before

After

Ecotec piping back on with brand spanking jubilee clips

Fitted my new shiny rocker cover bolts

More off the radiator with fan eventually fitted and alot of swear words

Clearance

Fitted my metal jubilee clips for manifold wrap

Exhaust all mounted up onto the rubbers with some help from the jack

A few underneath shots

Some of the overall car

Started clearing some space to fit my linkage tomoz, not looking forward to it at all

Fitted my HID ballasts onto the outside of the bay so it's alot tidier

Inside

And then how i left it for today after about 6 hours work in the boiling sun,got a tan.

Still things to do :

-My dad to fit my inner cvs onto shafts and fit new gaiters
-Fit 5mm spacer onto D/S mount
-Fit Gear linkage
-Fit new header tank
-Fit heater matrix hoses
-Wrap loom and fit it,needs wiring inside the footwell
-Fit oil cooler and front bumper
-Fit airbox
-Fit wheels and tighten all bolts for coilvers up
-Fit new oil filter
-And then obviously fill with new oil, gearbox oil and coolant

And then hopefully give it a try. Wish me luck lads.

Absolute pig mate, I think my manifold sticks out more than yours as well as I had to cut my fan so it didn't touch it
