After 180 miles I thought it was due a wash so gave it a once over last night. Drying last panel off as it started to rain
Few pics today, amazing how different the colour looks depending on sunlight. Some pics from 8am this morning, others around 1pm.

Finally got round to fitting the sportline front to the camper, I've had it sat about for what feels like a year

Done the flapper mod on the Scirocco the other day. Only one exhaust is used up to around 4k revs. So the flapper mod holds open the flap to keep both exhausts in use permanently. So obviously slightly louder at lower range revs. And makes a few nice burbles.
Not the best video but you get the idea.

Moved the heater to under the body using the proper mounting frame, I had to drill two 50mm holes through the floor which was a bit arse twitchy!

yesterday i cleaned out the oil pump, resealed it (new gaskets) cleaned out pick up pipe etc... sump sealed on, and put it all back together.
i was a bit worried that the tubular manifolds would be too close to the alloy sump, cos the car that they came off had the slightly smaller steel sump but its all good..... debating too make a little heat shield under there (theres two threaded holes for it)
taking shape now

Lost the camshaft blanking plate that I fitted a couple of months ago, thought I hammered it home, apparently not.
Oh well, another £5 spent on the Saab, I feel a bigger bill soon though.
