Cheers for the comments everyone Appreciate it!

Sean mines about the same as yours was by the sounds of it. My fan kicks in at 95 so it never gets any hotter than that in traffic. Normal driving it sits at 91.

Chris I certainly did mate Heres the update -

Started work on it this morning at about 10ish. The first job of the day was to get the slam panel flattened back ready for paint. This took me just over an hour to get it perfectly smooth

Before painting it I wanted to get started on the drivers side chassis leg. This had a few scratches on it from where the cambelt had been on and off and also a small bit of surface rust started under the headlight.

So I flattened it all back to remove the scratches and rust. Then I treated the rust with the Deox gel

With that sorted I got the car masked up again ready to paint the slam panel Here it is after four coats of Glacier white

I left it to dry for a couple of hours before removing the masking sheets etc. Then rolled it outside for some daylight pics!

Really am chuffed with it! Can't wait to flat and polish it now Im going to leave it a few days to harden first though to be safe.

Finally a quick shot of the chassis leg in high build primer ready for flattening down

Thank god for that! I was having a panic last night thinking id lost 5 years worth of pics

Graeme looking back I should have done really. Would have saved me a lot of time but it never crossed my mind for some reason

Yesterday morning I went upto Spice Arrt to collect my new doors! So pleased with them! They have done a fantastic job on them as usual The chap very kindly wax oiled all the insides for me too to give them some extra protection

I've got some extra paint incase I need to have the sides blown in to get the colour match. Just need to trial fit one quickly to see how it looks

After that I got the drivers side chassis leg into paint

All ready for flattening back and buffing tomorrow
