air bags are fun to play with i believe
air bag
shame it didnt go according to plan. dont think we would make good terrorists.
then more on corsa. finished the front plates today
then some etch
then some seam sealer
grand indeed. tomorrow can paint the under bonnet bits that need painted. will clean and underseal the front wheel arches, and etch prime the rest of the cage.

think it was the 3-4 foot of chippings it was burried in that made it fail so much.

todays exploits sponsored by rattle cans and golden virginia.
rattle canned them bits. look great.
nice day so dragged it outside.
lovely underseal stuff
refitted the screen wash bottle after giving it some autoglym or whatever its called. the toothpaste tackle. adam approved.
put skirts and wings back on
decided that the swirl tank and fuel pump look like they want to be mounted there. so i will obey their wishes and mount them there.
bit of etch till the can ran out. will finish off etching the cage tomorrow. make bracket for swirl tank then clean car out, sand it down and get it masked up ready to paint insides.
purposeful sunday. still got the noise of the racing sidecar johnny was mapping. 15400 rpm or something it was at. shrill and yet lovely noise at the same time.

day off means car work. so off out to jdm in a minute. fuel tank to remove. mount for swirl tank to make and then to etch the rest of the cage then apply seam sealer. should keep me busy. i have to leave at 5pm as someone is taking a car there and they have specifically said nobody else is to be present. weird.

Hide in the corner!
What seats are going in? Is the full dash board going in or are you going to make an instrument panel up?

needed some way of running the fuel lines down the driver side floor. with a seat mount bit in the way something had to be done.
check fuel hose x2 will fit through and winner, it does.
clean up a bit of powerflow
drill hole right through
insert powerflow, cut to length and weld into place. now fuel liines can run past drivers chair no problems.
next up was to make a plate inside the car to weld to the floor to mount the swirl tank on
grand stuff. will work a treat.
moved the wires over the heater box. there are so many additional wires that i just dont need in there. will sort through it at a later date.
cleaned the car out inside. floor brush, hoover and air line came handy. then i shook the acid-8 etch primer can, brand new, and began.
missd a few bits, went back over, still missed a few bits went back over then ran out of etch. 99% sure ive got everywhere covered. will get another can and give it another going over one night this week.
paint soon init.
