But cole, there is 300lbs of you riding it, I don't think it will make much difference.

That'd be verging on 42lbs+.
My 2007 Demo 7 weighed 42lbs and my Kalula is on about 37lbs with modern tech!

Treated my penny farthing to some new bits. Having gone 1x10 a while ago I found although I can quite happily pedal away sometimes my knackered old body just doesn't have the lungs anymore. So to make things a bit easier I bought one of these.... clicky and a spangly wipperman gold coloured chain. I also swapped my rear XT mech for a clutched version while it was in bits.
Went for a quick blast round Newcastleton today and it was nice to have that extra cog when the lungs started to burn. I enjoyed it even more as I had too many Stella's last night. My drive train is spookily quiet now no chain clatter or noise at all. Looks funny though 30t up front and a 42t with long cage mech on the back.. Meh

Bike wasn't locked within shed but shed door had the regular shed lock plus 2 hefty padlocks top and bottom of the door.
They unscrewed all 3 hinges and removed door. When I sort it all out i'll be removing the screw heads this time. Also putting a battery infra red alarm in too.
Fully covered by insurance which is main thing.

Use coach bolts instead. Easy to remove from the inside if you need to but cant be undone from the outside

Yep. My Dad suggested putting at least one of these in each hinge.
Tbh its a bit of a no brainer to remove the hinges to get in but tbh I thought no-one would bother to do all that to break into a shed. I'm pretty sure that they were opportunistic and had no idea what was in the shed.
Although the extra padlocks etc. may have infact have attracted them.
Police reckon they may be back. They only took bike, drill and toolbox. Left a lot of fairly expensive stuff. My socket set was worth more than my drill. They moved it to get the drill box but left it!!
Got to empty shed tonight and move everything to inlaws garage until I get it secured again.

Insurance company are already offering replacements.
Can't get a cube though as the company they use don't supply them??!!
I've basically got £1120 to spend on the website..
They are recommending the Giant Talon.
http://www.bikereplacement.co.uk/p66505/Giant-Talon-275-0-2014-Mountain-Bike.aspx
Scrap that. I've taken the offer of £1030 cash.

Insurance companies are right cheeky bastards for offering vouchers etc for websites. Like fuck do they pay RRP.
Sorry for your loss
When we put our shed up, we concreted loops into the floor and chain through these.
I dread the day ours are gone
