Got a binding brake on my VW T4, I suspect it's the slider pins or brake piston seal but a bit gutted as was going to a vw show tomorrow and haven't got time to fix it before

Got a rumbling wheel bearing, I heard Clio 182's are particularly hard on rear wheel bearings and they are pressed into the rear disc so I've ordered a full set of Genuine Renault rear discs with bearings, abs rings and pads for £115. For a bearing on its own is £55, go figure

Got it MOT'd, only needed a seatbelt as it was frayed pretty badly.

Couple of advisories that I'll get through in the summer. Happy Days.

Got round to replacing rear discs and pads on the Clio today. Never sure why garages charge about 3hrs labour when it only takes 30 mins a side at an absolute maximum!

Was the rear spacer transferred to the new discs? I've heard if you don't the bearings won't last...

Yeah, there's a 50mm (ish) spacer that packs the bearing away from the hub inner face which stayed on the stub axle when the disc came off
