well clutch and flywheel arrived at 3 oclock today , big thanks to ttv and steve milton for sorting it all out , few pics of what ive got

then onto fitting it i had been and picked up a spare bottom end of greg the night before to see if the flywheel bolts needed cutting down as the flywheel had been recesed

so they were locking the crank up so needed to cut 5 mm of them

end result

test fitted box and all seamed ok

ended up choping the input shaft as its a twat to try line both splines up

then fitted flywheel and clutch to my engine

and built it back up

some free sickers that came already colour coded to the car

next up started it up

all running fine , vibration has now gone , would sellect gears fine when in the air, droped it down onto the floor and it wont go into gear, we adjusted the clutch pedel till it was right up in the air but it still doesent press on the clutch fingers enough , so need to sort out a new bearing , so no totb , pretty gutted tbh as wanted to be in it ,

If its anything like Cody's cossy. Then when he fitted a twin plate he had to convert to hydraulic clutch as cable just stretches and is just not strong enough to push the clutch pettels in efficient enough. Just a thought mate. You can convert F28's easily mate. Would be much better with that twin plate.

No need for hydraulic, just needs a spacer/ carrier like I posted,
Plenty of people have ran 7.25" clutch on cable including me with no hassle.

Pretty sure if he got this he'd still need to stick a spacer under it so the cylinder doesn't hyper extend
and fill his bell housing with clutch fluid
Then convert his clutch pedal to Hydro,

Irc I think you can split the bearing from the carrier,
And then you just need a simple spacer that locates on the carrier and the Bearing on the spacer,
Shame I'm not closer or I'd say do me a drawing and is make it

Yeah I had an idea he'd still need a spacer matey. But I know going off the cossy's the hyd setup is much better than a cable when running these clutches.

I dowt it mate box will need dropping again and it's a cunt with the new thickness of the clutch plus it still needs mapping , also it's a trial and error as to how thick the spacer needs to be

it doesn't have to be trail and error to make the spacer does it?

couldn't you measure from the block to the end of the clutch and then measure from the edge of the gearbox bellhousing to the clutch release bearing and the difference should be the size of the spacer?

took gearbox of last night

measured how much clearance is in the box and its 67 mm,

edge of block to clutch finges is 56.5mm so a spacer of 10.5 mm is needed ,

also had my proper tyres fitted to my wheels
