yeah rich old wheel was just for a giggle. Dont think it suits any more. Will buy some other steering wheel at some point like an omp one maybe and a quick release boss.

See quick release steering bosses, I wouldn't have one if you leave your car anywhere, as they tend to release quickly through a smashed window into a ned/chavs hands.

why would you leave the steering wheel on if you leave your car anywhere? is that not the point of a snap off boss, so you can remove the steering wheel when you leave the car??

my mrs has one, great invention they are

after having to leave work early as i thought i was having a heart attack, to go to see the hospital people to find out ive got a torn stomach mussle, i felt relieved that i was still alive so went to do a little bit to the corsa.

some rubber mounts for the swirl tank. cut one a bit too short so i re did it. got no pics. sorry.

rubber mounts for fuel pump.

fuel pump and swirl tank situated

made a hose up.

connected it like so

then ran the feed for the rail to the front of the car.

that overbraid stuff is a right fucker if it gets between your nail and actual finger. will get a bit more done on weekend i hope.

Nic : Lots of Q's here..... just curious, not nit picking.

Would it not be a much shorter hose run with a 90deg off the tank, or even rotate the tank 90deg to the drivers side with two straight fittings and a small bend in the hose?!

Without seeing it first hand maybe thats not possible is it?

Are you going to box in all the new fueling stuff? Not sure if you plan any serious drag/track events where reg's would require a firewall or sealed box & drain for your safety.

What was the thinking behind putting it on the rear seat area? Easier to mount/plumb? I would have thought the rear boot area would have been ideal.

tried doing the pump straight from swirl tank. theyre are of different heights which i hadnt really took into account tbh. that was the easiest way to do it. dont think it really matters though?

not boxinf the fuel lines etc in as yet. its just a road car at the end of the day. as for fitting it there, the battery goes on the flatter part of the boot floor, and the actual spare wheel well is quite thin metal and low to the ground so thought where it is would be better tbh. i guess if it causes problems i will alter it all if i have to. unsure why it would though so if you have any insight would be greatly appreciated adam.

Cant see it causing any problems where it is.

Have you had a look at the rear of Brosters corsa? Flat rear floor. Get the plasma cutter out and that'll give you a much better base to mount everything on, leval/flat etc and can prob save weight too
