Got jealous of above (lol not really this was on the cards, just happens to be similar time). After 10+ years bar a short run in the middle to get the 4 pots on and reg plate off, and being in a council lockup, finally got her to her new home.
Found loads of tickets for shows, Trax, PVS, Ultimate Street car, other events at Pod, and a few staff cards from writers at Revs, Max Power, and Fast Car from them touting to feature her car.
Think it might need a new cam cover. Want to get rid of the chrome, ideally get it flocked. Anyone got any contacts?
Gave it a clean, first time in years, it had mould on the paint, and covered in cobwebs inside. Hasn't come up bad though. Wheels need a refurb too though.
No cracks anywhere
Finally in her new home, all nice and dry and prweeety
Rest of the custom chrome items are spotless still. In fact it only looks like the cam/pulley cover which are knackard. Already eyeing up Roose items and a shiney AFM inlet pipe. Not sure yet, tbh I want to get engine temps down, and chrome isnt' good for that.

Bloody nora Really bad or can it be patched with Fibreglass and smoothed over?
As for the Audi, yeah its a nice motor. 3.0 V6T Derv. 309bhp, 458lb ft. Goes well enough to see off most motors. Actually having trouble deciding what to replace it with next year its been that good.
Bloody quiet on here these days isn't it?

Decent power in them, and 5.0 to 60, pretty quick for a family bus.

Daimo, so nice to see donnas corsa back out. I've always said that it was one of my all time favourites. I thought a few years ago you were going to strip and sell it? It looks so clean and shows how good of a job was done back then.

Yeah for nearly 2 tonnes it goes ok. Its an audi so doesn't handle great but then its a daily driver so no need to go round bends well. It carries a lot of luggage and is really comfy with all the toys (sun roof, bang n oulfson, phone connect and cameras etc). Quicker, comfier, and more reliable than the corsa lol.
As for the corsa, yeah we were gonna strip and sell, but moved house into a forever home and its got a silly big garage, enough to keep my bikes and the corsa tucked away. We had a council lockup for 7+ years which cost us, and we could never work on the car as it wasn't near our old house. However now we've got it home we can tinker away at it without any worries. I'm really happy with the cars condition, its just the electrical side of things that need sorting (lack of use, I reckon just furring at the cable ends). Get that sorted, give her a good service, then get some other bits we can afford to get done now and she'll be back.
Oh cheers for the heads up on the flocking guy above. Will look into it. Really need to shed some engine bay heat and as the chromes knackard it seems to make sense. I recall a local guy with a really tidy blue corsa had his engine flocked and I really liked it. Needs a new afm-turbo inlet hose, and a intercooler-inlet manifold pipe, some turbo heat wrap and exhaust wrap, plus I used the old purple hoses off my 2.0 so hopefully the temps will come down.
Tested the audio today, all worked. Well happy, 1 less item off the list to sort out
