is it?
just looking at the Pic above that he has flatted the filler and you can still see the filler in the next pic? maybe just a light coat of primer.....
I didn't want to get too much etch on the filler as it's not really meant for it

Being a perfectionist is not good. You do things like this

At least I have a clean engine bay to work with now:

Need to do a bit of work on the front cross member. The shell is reletively rust free, but it is a 12 year old car none the less.

Got the shell more or less bare now, needs to be sanded more. But I have other things to do this afternoon now.

Next jobs to do before the weekend are to sand the shell even more. Take all the glass out. Skim all the filler work and flat it properly, bearing in mind I did this work ages ago when I wasn't as skilled as I am now so it's not good enough for me anymore. Strip the shuts and pull off the suspension to paint the arches. I might have a painted shell by Sunday

Also, if anyone has a spare Corsa or Tigra scuttle they want to give me I'll take it off thier hands

Speak to robmarriot. I can't remember if you wanted one with an engine or not? His one is missing it's engine and virtually everything else. Pefect! Apart from there will be no interior bits for me to steal

Could do with some help now. There are ripples in the filler and there are millions of dents in the pannels that need attacking. Plus there is so much sanding and stripping to do.... So much work

All I have to say in that matter is. If a jobs worth doing, it's worth doing properly. I want this to be a car that's going to win some prizes. Not sure if it will because I'm not going lairy. I'm thinking less is more. You will all soon see

I want him to start work on his project soon! It will be development work for something I really want to do one day!!! Too bad, though there must be thousands of dead Corsa's all over the place. There are over a million of them in the UK somewhere
