it took new home in the workshop on the weekend, im just painting the front of my vx220 then when i get back from skiing we have got two weeks on it so will hopefully get loads done, just been to busy working on something else pics in a week or so though

finally got some work done on it, not alot though as had to move loads of bits around before we could start but should have the front welded on tomorrow

heres some more pics of what we are doing, similar to a ferrari at work but with an astra front going on a corsa, been chopping little bits out of each section at a time to get a perfect fit, takes ages though but don't want the front to drive off and leave the rest behind.

yep, the astra suspension set up is much better and we wanted to fit the engine and thought why not fit the whole front with subframe.

i take it the idea is then to use the astra wings and lamps etc??

wot type of bench is that in the pics?? bracket bench?? looks complicated compared to caroliner..

still using the corsa front end pieces just gonna fabricate a bit. The jig is "Car Bench" its got loads of brackets and jig points coz the cars are aluminium so can distort easily under welding, takes ages to set up but quite impressive
