update 06.06.2007
ive finally got my car back from being set up but all is not well. the head gasket is leaking coolant so i need to whip the head off and investigate this more., and fit a new genuine head gasket this time and new bolts again (3rd set ive bought lol)
im hoping that the coolant is seeping into the cylinder as ive got a missfire also. all compressions are ok (1+2 = 150psi, 3+4 = 180psi) and all plugs spark. next to check is the injectors to make sure there ok.
we'll ive got abit more progress done but its not much and no much will be happening now for another week as im going on holiday to get away from it lol (2months of not driving it is annoying).
tonight i finally set up my gears so i no have all 5 and reverse and loosely fitted my front bumper, and now im having second thoughts on the bumper with my new bonnet.

looks smart pal,.
sorry to here about the head problem when your head is off might be worth getting it skimed incase it is slightly warped.

I dont understand much about engines but if the compression is that high surely it cant be leakin coolant?
