It is an informal, offensive term.

Is the route cause of all problems and immigration in this country are people from Pakistan?

Would deporting all of the "pakis" solve the immigration problem?

Are the muslim protesters, including the ones in your pictures earlier in the thread, "pakis"?

How many times have you used the word "paki" to someone from pakistan?

Why dont newsreaders refer to pakistanis as "pakis" on the news?

, its why i get so annoyed tbh. when we pay so much and get hung out to dry by this government.

member of my family was even told to go private for operation if we could afford it. Even though we pay large amounts of NI to the government.

Then this proposed 100m quid mosque

This mosque you're whinging about is simply the smoke screen that you can use to vent your racism on all things foreign.

I have no problem with ones that accet out way of life/beliefs. NOT the one who march the streets waving Anti British banners, claim benefits etc

This is our country, a christian country. Either respect it and accept it and live here happily or fuck off.

They cant even live peacfully amongst themselves let alone with other religions.

and for the record my indian mate/colleague has agreed with everything in this statement. His family own a business and pay tax. i begrudge him nothing.

I wont apologise for having high morals just because you don't

Your right, I don't think its right that we are paying for the mosk, but then if you READ things you'll see i've already wrote that.

I also agree anyone coming to the UK should learn english, but that doesn't mean that I would have any right to stop someone praying anywhere they wanted. AS said, do you even understand what they are praying for at this point?

At leat you've not gone to name calling again, so theres 1 improvement.

And your still saying indian and muslims and pakistanis as if they are the same people?????

It is the way its said.

2 situations...

At home with mates, a pakistani says something stupid/funny.

You stupid paki

Two people come out of a pub and barge into the other. One gets very angry and shouts

You stupid paki

One is racist, one is not.

Things should be made more clear cut, just like the "nigger" word. Until this is done, racisim will unfortunatly always be about.

But racisim, the mosk, and nutter arabs blowing themselves up are 3 totally seperate subjects.

im atalking about ANYone who is a muslim. white, indian, iraqi whoever.

they should not be able to pray in public in a christian country. I also find it offensive that they are allowed to hold boads with the anti british slogans on.

And yet the B.N.P march through luton was refused

This is a Christian country, accept that, respect our religion and cutlure or fuck off, whatever you background is.

Are you really that stupid? People use the term Paki in a derogatory manner and if you will find that its mostly used to insult people. If you can't differentiate between that and reality there really is no hope for you and you should shut your cake hole.

Your views are all out of sync and if you grew up in a different area you'd have more appreciation how lucky you are to live in a country where there is such diversity.

why is it ignorant? its offensive its an anti western world broadcaster. All of these protests are not doing them any favours

how come none got arrested for them banners in london? yet if i walked with Death to Islam, etc etc i would be arrested.

Your ignorant to the fact the there is a severe case of double standrds in this country. And at the moment it favours muslims.

Labour to blame imo with the human rights bollocks they pushed through.

It is seen as an offensive term, but if someone was to come up to me on the street ans call me a Scot, that would be seen as a friendly way of saying where I am from. Where does it differ?

i see where topshot is coming from thought. eg if i said "fk off you paki" its seen racist. if someone of pakistani origin said "fck off you brit" it wouldnt be racist. although TECHNICALLY it's exactly the same thing. a shortened version of each...

(although i do undertand that one is seen as racist, thats not my point)

paki is no different than me calling using yank, chink, etc.

It may be more aggressive if used in some ways but it is in no way racist
