softstars .. d90s havent been on for a couple of years. i liked the look more with the d90s but they made it torquesteer alot more being a funny offset which its got enough torquesteer as it is. think the d90s are abit too fashionable now for me too .. dont like doing things everybody else does.

aye i know this has been coming for awhlie so its not like its any suprise , its alwasy slapped when cold which i have been told is normal with wossners but i was never convinced and now it does it when warm too. new pistons are nice and tight to the bores

no mate the mahles are going in as they are . ive got a thicker cometic headgasket and under piston squirters so shouldnt have a issue... there supposedley the piston to use for my kind of engine, the wossners should prob be ok for another build so il prob sell them, i just thought maybe wossners are abit overkill for what i want from my engine.

Yer that's pritty much same set up as mine but steve machined them down to lower the compression abit, I also went for 86.5mm for a nice fresh bore! Steve highly advises mahles, that's reason I went for them! Hope all goes well and I'll keep my eye on the thread!

striped old block down, took the wossners off the steel rods and fitted the mahles and built the crank/pistons into the new block.
