The majority came to that realisation when we actually managed to beat teams, including Rangers, without him.
You'd have thought we were a 1 man team prior to that.

He was the stand out last year but he's still a way to go to be considered as good as he thinks he is. Maloney has given us more end product this year and he couldn't make it at Villa.

He is over rated imo, if Celtic get more than £5million for him when he does eventually go then they will have done incredibly well.

Exactly my reasoning, and I still stand by it. He had a great game against us, but in fairness all he did was have 4 great shots - on another day (Midds) all 4 would go flying high and wide.
I still doubt he'll become anywhere near the level Arsenal need to drag them within touching distance of the league.
