Just noticed that, the above must be using a reducer as that pipe only comes in 80mm as its for a vxr.

marklawton - Cheers mate, didn't realise you had a coupe! Loved both your Corsa B's so have high hopes for your coupe, look forward to seeing the progress!

ShEp - Gaskets where all good so cheers for the heads up

.dean. - your engine bay looks damn fine! Im waiting for TX Autosport to bring out there kit with the cdti airbox, blue silicones and stainless bend, its advertised in Total Vauxhall in the back pages but nowt on there website or ebay, may give them a call soon.

Warren G - I get the feeling some sort of " CS's Astra MK4 Posse" will appear in our sigs soon

ShEp - Cheers for the info mate, gaskets where fine so re-used them, AOC I come on CS more than AON for Astra info

Liam - Cheers bud, how is you MK4 coming along?

Pete - no worries mate, does look alot better IMO

UPDATE 14/04/2010

Well got cracking with the pre-cat today, got it finally done within 3 hours so not bad going.
Old one out, soaked most of the nuts and such in good old WD40 so everything came out and off rather easily.

Lambda sensor fitted to the new one

Was blowing the first time we started it from the turbo end, had a browse on AOC and AON and a few had troubles with the gsket which sat between the pre-cat and the turbo, many said they removed and it sealed fine, so did that
3 sets of hands are better than 1

And now all fitted, and no leaks

Took it out for a drive after all warmed up and noticed the difference, the low down pull is soo much better, sounds alot better in higher revs aswell, so overall a good result

Havn't done anymore to it recently, should be getting ready to sell it soon, within the next 2 months anyway. Not going to get a GSi now, hopefully going to make the jump to VXR, or even a Focus ST

Nice one liam, I do sometimes wish I went down the VXR route, but it was the most I could afford at the time.

Warren - all in good time my friend

Just ordered a cat-back exhaust system, a Cobrasport 2.5" system with no centre silencer and a 5"x3" Oval Tip which should hopefully fit the rear bumper recess like my Scorpion backbox does.

24 Hour delivery according to there website so should be here tomorrow but at the latest wednesday

Let me know what the fitment and noise is like from that exhaust, was eyeing them up on ebay, along with their precat.
