That was a bigger problem yeah

If Owen hadn't got injured I think we'd of been not half as bad off because at least he can score.

Leeds sign Billy Paynter from Swindon on a free.

What do the Leeds fans think? Scored 29 goals for Swindon last season. My mate who is a Leeds fan is pretty pleased with the transfer, although he said he was hoping they would sign Hulse.

Its sounds fairly final too. Not holding out for more money etc. Looks like Arsenal were only going to respond to an official offer which happened last night. And they've made it pretty clear he's not for sale.

I'm suprised, but pleased.

I think it's only a stall tbh, if they come up with a realistic (and also silly) offer like £45m then I think he'll be gone

Ona side note, the Metro are reporting that Joe Cole has signed a 3 yr deal with us :S if so, good signing IMO
