Hi mate, you've been busy since I picked up that gear box up off you last October. Your cars looking great and super clean i'm really impressed have you decided to use an f20 now instead of the f28 you had ?

Thanks guys
Daine the breeze block effect is on the passenger side aswell for now
B16RUK I have, can't believe it was so long ago when I sold you my F20! I'm going to run an F28 with my let. You got my last F20
Little update 24/1/14
Did a bit more yesterday got a shot of the corsa in the light for once !
Next I whipped the gsi bumper off and built it up (shocking photos :/)
Didn't have the fogs or splitter on
After ...
Splitter needs a really good clean !
Fitted my colour coded washer jets aswell
Popped them in after the photo as there sticking out a tad
Got my new trimmed 3 way water pipe from TX autosport
And it's still a crap fit
Going to send it back get a refund and buy a roose one
Whipped my old coilovers off
They were really tight! My breaker bar was bending
Need to paint the strut top inner
After fitting the new sump gaskets and baffle one of the gaskets started weeping :/ so got a new baffle a c20ne one from vauxhall and began to fit it.
If anyone's wondering why I went for the c20ne one it's because there's a gasket bonded to the baffle (sorry for those who already knew)
Just remember to bend this tab back ...
Just so it doesn't foul, I did mine gentle tap with a hammer
Sump off
Cleaned
Block before
And after
I cleaned all the holes for the bolts aswell that are in the block they had loads of sealant in :/ did what Daine said and ran a tap down every single hole
I used different bolts aswell can just see them in this picture
There far better thank let/xe bolts. They are a tad shorter but that's because the bonded gasket on the baffle is quite thin.
I also bought these off eBay (brand new) for the grand total of £3!
Car needed them to replace these nasty things !
If anyone has a cavalier gear knob (6 speed) off a cavalier/calibra turbo I'm desperate for one so please let me know.
That's all for now thanks for looking

1/2/14 Fuel pump problems :/
Been back today and done some more first up I set about fitting my new walbro fuel pump
Only found out when I took the old pump out that the new ones a lot taller :/
This is how the old one sits
And the new one
As you can see the new ones height stops it from sitting locked in the housing :/
I looked at this from dales thread and his looks shorter
The place I bought the pump from (eBay) said its a 255 pump so I've asked for a replacement.
Any way other bits I've done
Before
After
They were a bit of a pain to fit as the rubber was really stiff from being new. Tip for anyone doing this put the pedals in a bowl of hot water and it softens the rubber. I found this out after I fitted them
Better picture of the gsi bumper built up
Before (no bonnet stand clip)
After
Rear boot seal fitted
Lower seal on the door fitted
I untucked all the rubber seal on the door

Bit of an update 2/3/14
I fitted my new crank oil seal
I bought these off eBay aswell
Cav steering wheel
And an F28 gearbox mount (from eckers)
I sorted my fuel pump issues aswell
These little "fins" were stopping the pump going in so I sanded them down
And in !
And all finished (bar the plastic top)
Got these off eBay aswell, equal length drive shafts
All they need are new outer cv joints and boots
Took my broken fuel pipe off aswell, just waiting for my new one to arrive now
Got my fuel cap and roof rails back (the white on the cap is masking tape)
Started putting the interior back together
Started building the engine up ready for going in , waiting for my timing belt and water pump to come)
Icv pipes all sorted
Rad on (sure it's bigger than normal)
And popped my intercooler infront
I know it's upside down it sat better though for the photos
How the let stands
Crash bar on
Hopefully will sit like this as it's the same intercooler
The reason progress is slow aswell is my urbexing again been going to Wales Stoke on Trent etc etc
This is Denbigh asylum and my mates and me (look like a bad boy band)
Pool park asylum
That's all for now

Been empty since earlier than that , any idea what the programme was called? The front (in the pic) has had a new roof.
The rear is a real mess , this is a pic I took when I was ontop of the silows

All in
Door card won't accommodate my tweeter so had to remove it
(Needs a good clean aswell) ^^
Lights on
Need new exhaust rubbers as the exhaust sits too close to the bumper
Popped the grill on the gsi bumper (just need a new vaux badge)
Hopefully my timing belt kit and water pump should be fitted on Thursday
