update 14/1

me and my dad manged to get a lot done on the engine this weekend. started off getting the drive and timing belt off. couldnt shift the timing belt tensionner at all so ended up getting the angle grinder out to take some of it off, then a chisel and hammer to remove the bolt.

got the head off

then the cams came out:

next we took the power steering pump, alternator, engine mount and starter motor off ready to paint the block.

head off all ready to be stripped

power steering pump painted

decided to get the fuel rail out so dad can spray the inlet

cleaned up the starter motor and fitted new trucking ready to go back on the engine

getting all the newly painted bits back on the bottom end

inlet sprayed

let me know what you think
