Looks spot on.

cheers ian. it's personal preference really with these cars. you either like them or hate them.
chris - it doesn't really need lowering spring on at all tbh i might keep the fronts off for now as i don't want to end up scraping my front bumper everywhere.
no xenons unfortunately only halogens with uprated bulbs.

been reading up on sorting the orange front indicators out.
i can either search for an o/s clear light to go with the other one i already have, like so:
or,
take mine apart and tint the indicator black (maybe paint the silver surrounds black aswell), like so:
silver:

After reading about the last time you did anything to the car I wouldn't suggest trying to split your expensive looking headlights.

it is if you're in a rush and the bolt is still turning :lol; you telling me you've never had an issue with any car you've worked on? this is my 6th car in 6 years and never had the problem before.

I have learnt. Never attempt anything on the car in a rush. Always goes wrong for me if I do

i've been looking for ages now one on ebay now for 400 quid, just for the one!
just realised you can edit photo's on photobucket (used to have photoshop but lost it), so thought i'd have a little play:
certainly a lot more internet, and shows off the slashes on the bodywork better.

Ben, did you go to the John-d school of Essex BMW mods?
FFS, don't tint indicator lenses that looks megawank. Get clears or leave them amber. It's not a nova they don't look bad!
Also if you want xenons then you will need some Morimoto Mini HD projectors and hit MJ for an H1 4300k xenon kit. That will be better than the factory setup. Legal too.

According to the new rules yes so long as they are obviously properly aligned. Can only test for washers and levellers IF PRESENT.
have a look on hidplanet, i ordered mine from Retrofit Source, mine are still in customs and my BM is in the garage so I cant show you the results yet!!

do you not think these look pretty good jambo? they are just black surrounds with tinted indicators (DIY)
i also think dark surrounds on their own, suit my colour:
i like clears, but they just seem a little samey to me. might aswell have bought a facelift.

Jambo doesn't agree with anything tbh... He likes buying replacement standard pars instead of mods

true, i also like replacing broken standard bits but like to 'mod' stuff aswell. i don't think black headlights are chavvy tbh, they could be OEM if you didn't know any better.

They do look good on that grey one actually. How about clear indicators with a black surround?
Actually, I just smoked it on photoshop and it looks sweet as Steves powder coated lower arms
