So much for sheet ice death roads

Our ungritted road looks fine. Looks like fine rain coming down now. Complete overreaction by the media around this way.

It's all down to the media tbh. The media show us everytime it snows that BMWs are shit in snow so everyone believes that it's true yet everytime we've had snow in recent years, someone in our house has owned a BMW and has got about without getting stuck. Yesterday there was a reporter in south Wales talking about how bad it was down there, when in the background, which was all untouched fields, you could see big patches of grass showing through. We had more in St Helens and bar a few schools closing early (don't ask me why, they finished 3 hours early despite the fact it'd stopped snowing ) everyone just cracked on with it and no reporters came to tell everyone that it was a no go zone and unsafe and if you do need to drive to Tesco, take a weeks worth of supplies with you in case your that incompetant you can't drive a mile on flat, snow covered roads. The country wouldn't seem half as bad if the media didn't dramatise every single story

I've never been able to use my m3 in the snow. The amount of times I got stuck getting out my yard was rediculous

Ikea car park was empty.and free from obstacles when I came out.

Pretended to the missus that I had gone the wrong way into the overflow car park and was going to turn around.

Forgot to press and hold dsc button, so traction control was still half on as I attempted a small drift still span 180 degrees rather easily, missus was not impressed, yelling that the car could've rolled over

I've had no snow but temperatures just above freezing mean the roads are really greasy, throttle in second gear at roundabouts is fun.
