tracks up your way are bit more extreme than down here though and longer there were actually 2 proper pros that ride uci dh world cup for solid bikes factory racing yesterday needless to say they came 1st and 2nd but one 14yr old was only 3 secs behind them lad is gonna go far

Off out up the side of helvelyn to ride sticks pass this morning. Haven't been up there for about a year. It was bloody awful last time as I fell off quite badly and nearly fell down a ridge so hopefully I can survive better.

Epic weather. Decent ride out, ended up the top of helvelyn then rode down that to sticks pass which passes a place called raise, which had snow and the ski lift was in operation, could just make it out in the distance. Then bashed rear mech on a rock so finished the last couple of bits of descent chain less.

Top day out. Awesome weather and stunning views. Kinda gutted I didn't stop and take more pictures.
