I saw it and didn't think it was that good. I think the original series was better, at least it was a bit more realistic.

Cabin the the Woods - Quality horror(ish) film 7/10 - not what I expected, plus Kristen Connolly is fit.

hangover 2

8/10.

watched this again last night, quite tired but in a funny mood, and thoroughly enjoyed it (3rd time i've seen it).

this time i didn't compare it to the first one, rather watched it as a standalone movie and it was much better.

alan still cracks me up. i would love there to be a real life alan somewhere in the world.

Lawless

8/10

Good film, only thing that let it down I think was it was a bit over the top with the violence at the odd moment that it happened.

Here's a controversial one. Today i rewatched:

Drive - 6/10

Beautifully filmed and Ryan Goslings performance is amazing.
Ironically enough though, the story is with complete lack of drive and I never feel engaged in the film and have zero sympathy for any of the characters.

The Book of Eli 6/10

Not bad, sound editing is shit - speech is so low you need to turn it up to about double the volume, then any other sound is too loud. He's blind. Mind, blown.

Decided to start as there might be people with same film taste as me if i look at their ratings, might help me filter out watching some shite in the future!

Loved Prometheus.
Left a lot unanswered though.
...Also leaves scope for a sequal.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt had a pretty serious crash during the filming of that apparently. Did most of the stunts himself and ended up flying through the rear window of a taxi and needed around 30-40 stitches in his arm.

Trailers make it look pretty good, shame to hear it's not all that.
